    Next time you make Tallow, warm the old tallow and add it to the new. Cook and recook all of the fat in the pan. Then, start with a new clean container the new clean jar. The layers you are creating trap moisture in the jar. The combined warn fat is dry of moisture in the pan.

      @@MyFavoriteFWord I do not know how long this lasts, but at my home, it does not last very long. I also use it to wipe my wood boards to block moisture, which keeps them very nice.

    One more tip. Get two layers of gloves for your left hand ( right for left-handed). Over the skin, wear a black waterproof glove, and over that, wear a knife-safe cut protection glove. These two layers provide protection from the knife. The right hand is safe, holding the knife. The double-covered glove is safer and keeps warm when working with very cold meat. Your knife will cut a cold hand in harm's way. With a glove, most cuts will be avoided and kept warm. My cost was less than 10$ and can be put in the wash. A better grip will help you put apart the layers.

      @@MyFavoriteFWord Also, get a 10-inch Breaking knife and honing rod. The knife costs $20$. It makes the long cuts look better and has a smooth surface, which is better for searing.

      @@MyFavoriteFWord One more tool: Get old pool towels and cover the workspace. Keep the liquids away from me and the floor. The board stops slipping, and the knives stay on the table and do not roll away.

    The knife you used, a boning knife, is good for some parts of what you did here. When it comes to actually cutting up the streaks, look into something called a breaking knife.

      You can use either of those, I try to save calories and use sugar free syrups (mix pancake and flavored skinny syrup (amzn.to/3VJsi4Z), I usually find them in my local TJ Maxx, MArshalls

    I'm going to try this recipe with cottage cheese blend it up in the blender because I don't have yogurt. And I have some applesauce instead of the egg whites I'm going to add some almond milk and no zest. 😊 ___________________________ I had a lot of trouble food flipping the pancake over it was just too soft. I did manage to flip two over. I had a 2 tbsp of flour to the other portion of the dough. It seems to help tremendously to thicken it it seems to help easier to turn over. Anyway it is delicious. I was using my homemade applesauce I made already has sugar in it

      you can use any type of milk you prefer. I did play with cashew milk and they come out alright, the only thing is that the ice cream is watery. I would probably mix plant based milk with a more fatty milk like coconut milk (the thick kind - 120 calories per 1/3 cup)

      Yes, you can flavor it how you like, but if by extract you mean something like vanilla extract, the 4 tablespoons could be too much. If you dont drink coffee and are not into coffee flavor, replace it with a flavor you like

      I used to buy bread in Aldi, the wheat low calorie one, 40 calories per slice. Alternatively I would get one in my local store (Publix) their store brand of low calorie bread. Nowadays I bake my own high protein bread

      If I make an oats, zucchini and carrot pie, I’ll eat it as a side dish with a piece of chicken or pork chop or steak. It acts as my starch and vegetable. sometimes I’ll just eat it as my lunch without any meat.

      I dont add protein powders. I use PB2 instead that per calorie has the same amount of protein as most protein powders: 96 grams/ 12 tbs powdered peanut butter PB2

    I don't have an ice-cream maker but I saw recently someone take a plastic bag, put the mixed ingredients in and seal, then fill a bigger bag with ice and some salt and put the other sealed bag inside, seal bigger bag and jiggle until frozen. Haven't tried this method but it looked good.

    What can you substitute flour with? Rather What kind of flours can you use to make it no-carb?

      Never tried. Air fryers have different settings. If you use your air fryer on regular basis, try to bake this with settings you bake any other cake, it should work. You can always add extra time if you try and it is not fully baked, the texture should not be affected

      No, I did not add any more water. You can if your stock cooks alot of liquid out, which happens, especially when you cook the stock for a while
